M/S Diana

M/S Diana was built in 1931 at Finnboda shipyard outside Stockholm. She has three decks and a total of 25 cabins. The dining room and saloon are located on the middle deck, also called the shelter deck. They are built together, which makes M/S Diana perfect for, for example, meetings and conferences for up to 50 people. From the bridge deck you can enjoy the view from the covered aft deck. In 2003 M/S Diana was renovated and in 2012 all the cabins on the main deck were rebuilt and the dining room and saloon were also redecorated.

A carefully preserved ship
Both the decor and the atmosphere on board reflect the era when the boat was built. In 2009, Diana was k-marked, which means that the Norwegian Maritime Museum considers her to have cultural and historical value. We are very proud of this, as we see it as proof that our work to preserve the boat has been successful.

Tastefully decorated cabins
The cabins are comparable in size to a smaller sleeping compartment on a train, but give the guest an idea of how people traveled in the past. Although the cabins are smaller, they are tastefully furnished and decorated with beautiful textiles and brass details. M/S Diana has communal toilets on each deck and showers are available on the main deck and bridge deck.

Cruises along the Göta Canal
M/S Diana is also one of our three historic ships that cruise along the Göta canal. An unforgettable experience and a memory for life!
